Hey guys, it’s been a minute. I sold and repurchased my Legacy Tannoy Ardens and OMG I LOVE them, the detail. I also have Black Ocean Audio [M] Stack speakers.
What I’ve found is that my new $800 Eversolo AMP-F2 class D amp paired extremely well with the Tannoy, I like the resolution and transparency and don’t believe that the soundstage suffers at all. The Thresh was too nail biting with the Tannoy.
The BOA needs the big Threshold S550e, it just needs it, but wow is the sound exceptional. I plan to setup two listening room in Calgary soon.
I’ve got to say, the Vintage HPD385s, Onken Cabs and Xovers will be leaving my collection soon. I’m about purging what doesn’t fit into my system and refining the forever systems.
